About Lori Osterberg, CEO
Lori Osterberg knows marketing, and has an amazing way of being able to translate the power of online marketing into non-techie terms. Having owned three successful businesses over the past 20 years, she knows what makes a website work, how to create a website to get you noticed – and how to transform the way you are currently marketing your business.

As a business owner, her record speaks for itself. In the photography industry, she has won numerous marketing awards. As a business owner, she has doubled –even tripled – her sales profits again and again, year after year. She learned how to build a business with an online web presence, and change her business from a local business into an international success – during the 1990′s before online marketing or search engine optimization were even coined phrases.

About Andrew Osterberg, CTO
Andrew Osterberg knows marketing, and strives to share the power of the Internet with people from around the world. He developed an early love for programming and developing, and has an innate talent for knowing how to create a web presence that makes a visitor say “WOW”, and performs even better.

Some business owners understand how to succeed. It isn’t what you do or what you sell … it’s HOW YOU SELL IT that brings success. Andrew learned early in the 1990′s what it takes to succeed. He’s created internationally award winning marketing campaigns that incorporated both traditional and multi media content into dynamic presentations. He’s developed sites that immediately doubled – even tripled – the owners profits – and had fun training people in a non-techie way along the way.

From Photographers …
In many ways, Andrew and Lori started out as many entrepreneurs do. Both worked full time jobs, and started a business on the side. They worked nights and weekends for many years, learning what entrepreneurship really means. But after watching the people in their lives struggle to keep their jobs through layoffs and downsizing, they both decided to make the break and go full time at operating their own business. They’ve never looked back.

They started out owning and operating Eyes On Photography, a studio specializing in high-end wedding photography. Throughout the 90′s, they learned the power of the Internet by designing a website, and marketing it to the world. By the late 90′s, their website had over 20,000 images online (yep, people would spend hours going through the site using dial-up – and raving all the way!), and they were doubling – even tripling profits year after year. But as much as they loved photography, they discovered they loved something else even more.

” How’d you do that?”

That question began pouring into our email box in the late 90′s as photographers also began discovering us online. So we started providing the answers through coaching, marketing consulting and web design. And we had so much fun helping others with the daunting task of online marketing that we turned it into a business. Vision Business Concepts Inc was born.

As Vision continued to build, clients from other industries began connecting with us. What we learned about building our own service business online also applied to many other industries. So we began helping many other business owners increase their profits, generate more leads, and understand the world of online marketing.

Along the way we discovered there are two types of people on the Internet today: people that spend money and people that make money. Unfortunately most business owners fall in to the category of spending more than they make, and have never learned the secrets of creating a successful online presence. Over the last fifteen years, we have watched websites go from being optional to being a required business asset. Many small business owners and independent consultants understand a website’s importance; so they jump on the bandwagon and spend hundreds or even thousands of dollars creating a web presence. Then they begin questioning “Why?”

We help you integrate your traditional and online marketing strategies – creating an unbeatable plan. And above all, we help you by providing you with resources that will allow you to grow your company as quickly as possible – and to take on new strategies when YOU are ready for them. Business is tough – we’re here to make your job a little easier by guiding you to resources and ideas that can improve your business and take some of the weight off of your shoulders!

Vision Business Concepts was put together based on the demands of other small business owners who were trying to wear too many hats, and ended up failing at most of them. With over 90% of all small businesses started failing in the first 5 years, we realized there had to be a better way of helping people overcome basic marketing issues. We are developing resources and materials to guide the small business owner along the path of management, and creating an effective way of providing answers.

Today, both Lori and Andrew are busy helping people in a variety of ways.

Andrew provides coaching and consulting to a wide variety of business owners in many different niches. He is an expert when it comes to designing a website that brings in client both through his designs and through his optimization techniques.

Lori is an avid reader, writer and trainer. She speaks continually with groups of all sizes, both in live performances and through teleclasses and webinars. She writes for many publications, and has appeared in The Crafts Report, many professional photographer publications, Rat Race Rebellion, Ultimate Home Job, Newsletter Industry, Enterpriser, plus she’s a columnist for the Denver Business Journal. She’s currently at work on her third book.
